Dr. Harrison is board certified in both Podiatric Medicine and Surgery by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He has been in private practice for almost 18 years now in the San Francisco Bay Area and joins California Skin Institute as the Director of the Department of Podiatry. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California. He then completed a Podiatric Surgical Residency program at Mission Oaks Hospital in Los Gatos California and also completed a Masters program in Podiatric Medical Education. He also obtained a fellowship program in Podiatric medicine and foot and ankle surgery at a community hospital in Marshalltown, Iowa where he specialized in all aspects of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Harrison practices the full range of Podiatric Medicine treating all age groups. He treats the full range of foot problems including, but not limited to, correction of many types of foot deformities such as bunions and hammertoes, wound care for diabetic patients, and patients with lymph edema and peripheral arterial disease. Other interests include gentle palliative foot care to treat common skin and nail conditions such as corns, calluses, warts, painful cracking skin on the heels and unsightly fungal toenails and painful ingrown toenails. He also treats flatfoot deformities in all age groups, heel and arch pain, ankle sprains and fractures and painful arthritic conditions of the foot such as gout.
Doctor Harrison is a member of both the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). At one time Doctor Harrison served as a delegate to the CPMA.
In his free time Dr. Harrison enjoys Mountain biking, Jogging, hiking, boating and spending time with his family.
